Maynard Richardson allegedly took up a woman's offer to do anything to get a hand on Michael Lewis books on the night that led the former Des Moines police officer to be fired and facing criminal charges.Details of the case emerged this week after the city of Des Moines filed its formal response to Richardson contesting his Feb. 24 firing from the Des Moines department.
